This AdiBags plug-in automatically separates current expansion and prior expansion items in your bags and bank. Battle for Azeroth is still treated as "current" expansion for separating current and prior until Patch 9.1 when Shadowlands gear and tradegoods are added. The goal of this addon is to make it easy to spot trash to vendor after futile Siege of Orgrimmar mount runs, or for weeding out old crafting mats in your bags to mail to a bank alts.
Current grouping options which can be enabled are:
- Tradeskill items: enchanting mats, leather, herbs, etc.
- Consumables: Food, drink, potions, scrolls
- Prior Expansions' BoP and BoE gear
- Cosmetic items
- Pet battle bandages, charms and training stones
- Unopened containers, like lockboxes and emissary caches.
- Unlearned mounts
AdiBags-Prior Expansions is a companion addon to Adrielle's great mod AdiBags. For the nerds out there in the audience, it uses max(ItemId) to track prior expansion items not only for ease of updating, but also because Blizz is super inconsistent in flagging items by expansion or minimum required level now that they've added scaling gear. And yeah, lockboxes, caches, battle pets, and mounts are not exactly prior expansion-related, but grouping them is super handy, and I wanted it for my own OCD needs.
Please also check out my other AdiBags filter: AdiBags-Zone Items, which groups items from zones like Mechagon, Nazjatar, Vale and Uldum assaults, Horrific Visions, Garrisons, Timeless Isle and more.
