This sub-filter for Adibags automatically separates current expansion and prior expansion items in your bags and bank, so you can spot what is relevant to you more quickly. For example, by default Adibags groups all equipment together, but this addon groups older BoP and BoE gear separately from BfA gear. Items grouped by this mod have light blue bag labels for their category names.
It's great for making it easy to see at a glance after your futile Siege of Orgrimmar mount run what new BoP gear you can trash vs what BoEs you might want to attempt to sell. Or seeing what old crafting mats appeared in your bags which you need to mail to a bank alt.
Grouping categories currently enabled are:
- Food, drink, & potions (consumables)
- Old BoP and BoE gear
- Unopened containers, like lockboxes and emissary caches.
- Unlearned mounts
AdiBags-Prior Expansions is a companion addon to Adrielle's great mod AdiBags. For the nerds out there in the audience, it uses max(ItemId) to track prior expansion items not only for ease of updating, but also because Blizz is super inconsistent in flagging items by expansion or minimum required level now that they've added scaling gear. And yeah, lockboxes, caches and mounts are not exactly prior expansion-related, but grouping them is super handy, and I wanted it for my own OCD needs. This mod doesn't filter current BoEs and BoAs. For that I use "Adibags – Filter for BoE/BoA" by spanky0312. I didn't want to duplicate what someone else has already done well.
