AsraiBagCleaner

AsraiBagCleaner (ABC) is your little helper for cleaning up space in your bags while farming. All that unwanted stuff will be permanently deleted from your bags. Just create a macro with a small command and click it whenever you want. In addition, you can synchronize your profiles with your friends.

You should read the Getting started section at the bottom of this page.

Important

This addon comes around with almost no UI and has less error handling and reporting. Imagine it as a Linux console application back in 1999, when Windows had beautiful UIs. Usage at your own risk.

Security

AsraiBagCleaner is intended to be used by you or with your friends. Sometimes my friends synced item IDs to me which deleted some of my collected herbs. And they loved it :(. Therefore I decided to implement a little security system (which is infact not really secure but it does its job well so far). If your friends send you new item IDs, clicking on your bag cleaning macro won't delete those items. Item IDs sent by your friends are "insecure" until approved by you.

In addition, ABC will never ever automatically delete items with rare or higher quality. Never. NEVER. E-V-E-R.

Commands

/abc dungeons
Prints your dungeon containers

/abc profiles <dungeon>
Prints all registered profiles (or item blacklists) for the given dungeon

/abc create dungeon <dungeon>
Creates a new dungeon container.

/abc create profile <dungeon> <profile>
Create a new dungeon profile container.

/abc delete dungeon <dungeon>
Removes a dungeon container

/abc delete profile <dungeon> <profile>
Removes a dungeon profile container.

/abc add <dungeon> <profile> <itemid>
Adds the given item id to a dungeon profile container. ABC will search for that item ids in your bags and delete them

/abc remove <dungeon> <profile> <itemid>
Removes the given item id from a dungeon profile container

/abc sync <player> <dungeon> <profile>
Syncs your dungeon profile to a player via WHISPER addon messages. No other distribution types exist.

/abc approve all
Approves all unapproved item ids which you have received from other players. Usage at your own risk.

/abc approve <itemid>
Approve a single item id.

Getting started

ABC has just one dungeon profile with example data for farming Linen Cloth in Ragefire. You may wanna create your own profiles, for example Zul'Farrak gold grind.

Create profile:

/abc create dungeon ZF

/abc create profile ZF Zombies

Add items to it:

/abc add ZF Zombies 13371

/abc add ZF Zombies 13372

/abc add ZF Zombies 13373

Create your macro (using WoW macro editor):

/run AsraiBagCleaner:CleanBags("ZF", "Zombies")

or if you like it silent (without message spam):
/run AsraiBagCleaner:CleanBagsSilent("ZF", "Zombies")

Share data with your friends:

/abc sync Myfriend ZF Zombies
