About Atlas World Map

Atlas World Map is a texture replacement addon for World of Warcraft.
This version of Atlas integrates into your standard World Map. You will get player position, resources, quest markings etc on the maps. When complete, this addon will replace both outside world maps and instance maps.

Localizations

I lost all my source .psd files in an HDD crash, localization will have to wait.

Beta

I've been talking about making something like this for years over at the Atlas forum. It's going to take time to convert all the standard Atlas maps over to this format, and to create all the outside world maps.

• Is this something that people would be interested in ?
• Is there something you want me to change ? (I want to keep the Atlas feel that we have developed over the years).
• Please report typos, unaligned maps or missing caves. (I'm doing this by hand, so mistakes can happen.)

Status

• Right now there are 162 maps.
• All the Eastern Kingdom outdoor maps are done, including cities (Missing Scenarios).
• All the Pandaria outdoor maps are done, (Missing Scenarios and cities).
• All the Outland maps are done.
• All the Vashj'ir maps are done.
• All the Draenor maps are done (Missing Scenarios).
• Most of the continent maps are done. (Haven't remade the highlights yet).
• All the Kalimdor maps are done.
• All the Northrend maps are done.
• All the Elemental Plane maps are done.
• All the Great Sea maps are done.
• All the Legion maps are done.
  

Ideas

• Right now everything is explored on the map. When I'm done tweaking all the maps, I will make the discovery patches.
• When all the maps are done, I will release an alternative download with no text/borders.

Before Installing

• Any previous versions of Atlas World Map must be deleted prior to installation.

How to Install

1. Unzip the package into your World of Warcraft folder.
