Description
Being tired of having an infinitely long quest list on the quest tracker and spending time trying to clean it up, I decided to make this addon. This addon manages your quest log by tracking quests in your current zone, and removing those that are not in your current zone. Whenever you change zone, the tracker will automatically update with the relevant quests for the new zone.
Additionally, it still enables you to track quests manually. This means that if you decide to track a quest, even if it's not in the zone you are currently in, the addon will remember it and not remove it from the list.
Please leave any feedback / requests / bugs below and I'll do my best to address them!
FAQ:
Q. How do I manually track a quest?
A. Go to your quest log (press L) and shift + left click on the quest you want to track. Alternatively, you can right click on the quest and select "Track Quest".
Q. How do I stop tracking a quest manually?
A. Shift + left click on the quest in the quest list.
Q. Some quests are in this zone, but they are not shown in the list.
A. The addon uses the header of the quest log to determine the zone of the quest. Therefore, quests that appear under "Artifact", "Herbalism" and the likes won't be tracked automatically, as your current zone will never match those names.
Q. I just accepted a quest and it disappeared from the list after I moved.
A. That quest was not deemed to be for this zone and was therefore not tracked by the addon. If you wish to track that particular quest, feel free to track it — the addon won't remove it automatically going forward.
