Description
Some masochists in the WoW community celebrated the release of WotLK classic with a challenge: do raids ‘blind’ by not relying on addons to give hints about boss mechanics. WeakAuras is a popular addon that players use to track their cooldowns, buff timers and cast times but can also be used to track boss mechanics. Players don’t want to lose their customized WeakAuras, but it’s against the spirit of the challenge. What do?
Introducing BlindAuras, a fork of WeakAuras. This is a nerfed WeakAuras that only allows players to track player or pet-originated events. Custom triggers have also been disabled. Feel free to import your favorite auras from WeakAuras, but imported auras to track boss mechanics will not work on this fork.
