Description
Hey! I’m Vdo of Feathermoon US. I created this addon for people like me who enjoy a “minimalist” UI, or just simply enjoy using the standard Blizzard unit frames. I’m someone who works a lot better with visual ques, and I absolutely HATED the way I had to view a character’s class, mousing over them and reading the tool tip every time. If you’re like me, this addon is for you.
I couldn’t find an addon that did what I wanted anywhere, So I made this very simple, extremely lightweight one that does! I also really wanted to share it with the community so that maybe someone else in the same position can benefit from this.
What it does:
*No longer will you have to scour the tool tip to figure out that that guy in druid off-set tier is actually a monk! This addon uses a few simple lines of code to change the backdrop of the name bar in the character plates to their respective class color. (It works exactly like class colored raid frames)
*Added an alignment grid for those out there with OCD or those who like tidy frames, all you have to do to toggle it on and off is “/alignment”.
This addon is completely compatible with any other addon that doesn’t change the standard Blizzard character frames, and even some that do. (LortiUI, SantaUI, and a few other similar ones. Basically if it’s reminiscent of the standard frame, guess what? Its compatible!)
Here are some examples:
Enjoy~
