About the addon
This is a basic addon which came about due to how busy classic is, and the difficulties this causes with certain quests. This addon creates a macro which you can place on your bars and can be spammed as moving around the world. The macro will target, raid mark and pull (configurable) a specific mob. This is especially useful for named quest mobs which are often killed the moment they spawn.
If you choose to configure a pulling ability, the macro will cast this if the unit is found, and is in range. This is best to be set to instant cast abilities like Arcane Shot and Moonfire. If no spell is selected, the macro will engage a melee attack once the target is found (assuming you are in range) so if you are stood on the mob spawn point, spamming the macro will instantly begin attacking the mob once it spawns. If you are a low level hunter and want to enable auto shoot, simply type /cthspell !auto shot. (Exclamation mark is mandatory for hunters)
How to use
The addon is simple to use and comes with only four commands. After you have entered /cth mobname for the first time, a macro will be created in your macro book (/macro), under your character specific macros. Just drag this onto your bars and you will not need to open the macro book again.
/cth mobname – replacing mobname with the name of the mob you are trying to find. This also accepts partial names, sar will target Sarkoth and so on.
/cthspell spellname – replacing spellname with the name of the ability you would like to set up for pulling
/cthicon iconname – replacing iconname with the name of your preferred raid target icon. (Star, Skull, etc.)
/cthreset – if you have problems with the addon, simply delete the macro it generates in your character page and enter this command
