Display Name

Want to change your character name to be displayed as something else than your character name?
I saw this one addon but it hasn’t been updated for a long time so I decided I’d try to do one myself and this is my first addon ever.
I did find some useful info and code lines somewhere on the internet but I can’t remember where.

This addon is useful for videos/streaming if you don’t want to show you actual character name but still want to do content.

This addon does not support other UnitFrame addons (at least what I know of)

UI will be reloaded if:

• New name is set
• AddOn will be activated/deactivated via chat command.
• Only you can see the custom display name

/dnhelp – show all commands in case you have forgotten them.

/dnsetname – To set the name (will reload UI when accepted).

/dncheck –  Check whether the addon is active or not

/dnactive – Use custom display name (will reload UI).

/dninactive – Use actual character name (will reload UI).

/dnwe – Enable welcome message

/dnwd – Disable welcome message
