Description
DmtSummon works by matching incoming chat messages against a list of configurable phrases in order to maintain a list of players to summon. It is different than other summon addons because you’re not working with other warlocks to summon players as quickly as possible, rather you’re solo summoning players to an instance such as Dire Maul where only 5 players can be in at a time, and other players wait until their turn is up. Waiting players might log out or switch to alts to save their world buffs and this addon facilitates notifying them via guild chat, or whispering their alts if their main’s name is in their alt’s guild note.
Left-click on players in the summon list to target them. Right-click to summon them if they’re in party, or invite/notify them via guild chat or whispers if they are not. Buttons to the right of the player names allow you to remove them from the list. You may drag players to re-order them in the list.
Up to 16 fully customizable phrases are matched against chat messages you receive while the summon list is open. Each phrase can optionally be a LUA regular expression, ignore case (capitalization), be accepted in group chat or guild chat, or apply only to known players (group members, friends, guildies). Actions taken can include inviting to party, adding to the summon queue, removing from the queue, or replying with the list of players in the queue.
You may also customize the various chat messages sent by DmtSummon.
