Description
Jughead helps Archy help you with your Archaeology digs.
Jughead works with Archy, but no longer requires Archy. Jughead consisting of three colored buttons corresponding to the color of a survey, a reset button, and a distance indicator. Unlike Archy's indicator, Jughead takes into account the distance from all your survey results. This can be useful for those annoying red surveys that have you chasing all over the digsite. Jughead will only display green when you're in the area possible based on all your surveys.
To use Jughead, after a survey, face the direction indicated and press the corresponding colored button. Jughead will display a highlighted area on your minimap where the artifact fragments could be found. It will also hide Archy's minimap indicators that cannot be successful digs. Jughead will restore the minimap and indicators when you press the reset button, or when you receive artifact fragments.
In addition, if GatherMate2 is installed, when you successfully dig, Jughead will scan the GatherMate database looking for nearby surveys in the GM database, adding those to Archy's. To avoid unnecessary clutter on your minimap, you can hide the GM2 minimap indicators in the GM2 configuration.
The latest release of Jughead includes some options available in the Blizzard addon configuration screens. Among other things, you can change the size of the frame, tell Jughead if you want to use Archy or GM2, or lock the Jughead frame to prevent accidental dragging of the frame.
