Description
LootSquid was made to mitigate the somewhat tedious effort master looting requires. By supplying a lua file which contains standings of players the addon makes it possible to easily compare raid members based on their latest attendance and itemization. It includes integration with chat and master looting.
The addon will automatically show it self upon looting whenever the following three conditions are met:
- the player is in a raid,
- the player is the master looter
- a mob/boss has been killed and triggered for loot (also works with chests etc.)
Additonally the addon reacts to three chat based commands, which anyone in raid may issue. They work only after the master looter have started a loot session by clicking the "offer to raid" button next to a piece of loot. The chat commands are:
- !need <item> – this will add the sending player to a list of players who need the item. If an item is linked after !need, it will be displayed for the master looter to see and compare etc.
- !greed <item> – equivalent to !need, but is visualized below all need requests and with a differently colored message.
- !pass – which removes a previous request.
The newest request from the same player wins, including a switch from e.g. need to greed.
Notice: Please be aware that this project is still in early development. It is currently expected to hit its first public and stable release mid February 2015. You are very much welcome to ask for features or just in general offer feedback if possible.
