I made this addon mainly because of Mount Hyjal waves where it is kinda difficult to mark multiple enemies fast enough and target them for CC as well. This addon allows you to create macro for fast marking and spam one button to cast spell on target with assigned mark.

Because Blizzard made automated targeting difficult and most of the API functionality is protected and therefore usable only by Blizzard UI it was kinda tricky and it is limited.

Multi-marking

– create macro with following command: /mark “NPC NAME” <mark indexes> where star = 1 and skull = 8

– example: /mark “Abomination” 6 2 3 (this will put square, orange and diamond on first three nearby NPCs with given name)

– already marked units are ignored

– works only on units with visible nameplates (41 yards is maximum) with mouseover fallback

– you can click macro when out of range and then mouseover all the units which will automatically put marks on them

Spell casting on marked unit

– write valid spell name in the input and assign the mark

– works only if target is in front of you and within /targetenemy range

– can be bound to a key in Key Bindings (tab Others)
