This lightweight addon will allow you to easily:

• See another player’s average item level;
• See your own average item level; &
• See an item’s Item Level in the hover item info pop up, on the comparison item pop ups, and the pop up from clicking on an item link

When you inspect another player, you will see their average item level shown above their character model. As for your own, when you view the Character Info page, you will see your average item level displayed above the character model.

When you hover over or click an item link that’s of armour, weapons, or projectiles, you will see added to the tooltip popup, an Item Level on the second line. The Item Level shown is based on the exact item you are currently hovering over or selected. The hover action works anywhere the tooltip normally would show up, including chat windows, loot windows, character UI, and inventory.

This addon is only additive, so it won’t affect your other addons that modify the tooltip frame or character frames.

You can configure whether to hide the player or inspect avg item levels via the addon config tag: Interface > AddOns > MiniToolTip
