MorethurQuickUse is my first (and so far only) AddOn.
It displays a small window that automatically scans the player's bags for
items tagged as "Consumable", e.g. food, potions etc.
These are added as buttons to the QuickUse window.
Up to 30 buttons can be displayed. To use an item, just click on the
The buttons display tooltips and a small number showing how many of that item is in the bags.
There is room for improvement, but I myself find it convenient to use, instead of drag/dropping items I want to use to the actionbars.
Code for scanning bags was borrowed from "WeaponRebuff" by opt.
Updated to work with WoW 7.0.
Updated to work with WoW 6.0.
After more than 5 years away from WoW and even longer away from this addon.
Better late than never, eh 🙂
Made window less transparent
Fixed localization after tip from Xamdnarg
Updates to make MQU compatible with API 2.0
There is now only one button per item type regardless of the number of slots it occupies in the bags.
Changed interface version to 10900 (1.9 patch)
Changed interface version to 1800
-All "Consumable" items in bags are automatically shown as buttons in the QuickUse window.
I have added bandages as well (which are "Reagents").
– Right- or left-clicking a button uses the item. If the item requires a target (as in the case of bandages) you will have to assign a target in the normal way.
– Tooltips are displayed for each button.
– Cooldown is displayed on buttons and in tooltips.
– A number showing the number of items is displayed on the button.
– A key can be bound to toggle QuickUse on and off.
I hope you find this AddOn useful!
