Description
RangeBox
An addon that gives you an indicator that shows your estimated range from your target.
The box changes color depending if your spell or item is in range.
/rb or /rangebox to open the settings dialog.
Just type the spellname or itemname in the box for each spell/item that you want to check.
Then customize the box color for each range to your liking.
Range should be this sequence:
Spell/Item 1 > Spell/Item 2 > Spell/Item 3 > Spell/Item 4
Some examples that I use:
Hunter:
1 – Hunter’s Mark
2 – Auto Shot
3 – *blank* (Might fill-in with some trinkets or Scatter Shot when I PVP)
4 – Wing Clip
Warlock:
1 – Shadow Bolt
2 – Corruption
3 – Drain Life
4 – *blank*
Shaman (enhancement):
1 – Lightning Bolt
2 – Earth Shock
3 – Stormstrike
4 – *blank*
Known Limitation:
Cannot check for “Attack” or “Auto Attack” range.
So unless your class has a certain skill (like hunter Wing Clip) that specifically says melee range, you cannot check for melee range
