Description
General Info
ShieldOn was created to help warriors mainly with shield macros. Depending on current talent build and whether in a PvE or PvP situation, different shield sets were desired for macros (Titan's Grip being the main problem since it can use a 2h and a shield).
ShieldOn will store your desired mh/oh and usual weapon combinations for each spec and create Equipment Manager sets for you based on your current talent build and PvE/PvP check boxes.
Currently if PvE sets are enabled it will generate:
- PvEShield (A set containing your main hand and shield for your current build) and
- PvENormal (You usual weaponary for that build)
Having PvP enabled will create similar sets named:
- PvPShield
- PvPNormal
You will need to have adequate slots free in your Equipment Manager else sets will fail to be created.
Useful Chat Commands
- /so or /shieldon – Open Addon options
- /so update – Update sets for current talent build
- /so enablePvESets – Toggle PvE Set updating
- /so enablePvPSets – Toggle PvP Set updating
To Use
You must shift-click or drag-and-drop all necessary items into the right sections of the Addon options. Without the item boxes filled in, the addon won't know what sets to make and will inform you that something is missing.
Once all item links/names are present and the update command has run you would simply add "/equipset PvEShield" and similar commands to your macros or drag the equipment set button(s) onto your action bars.
Updating Sets
Every time you swap your talent spec from primary to secondary or back (dual-spec) the addon will ask you to confirm all appriopriate set updates automatically.
To force an update you can either use the addon options interface or use the chat command "/so update"
