Description

Share this:

Simple DPS is a minimalistic and good looking damage meter. Its minimalistic interface makes it possible for even total beginners to keep track of their and their party members damage and dps. However, I also hope that more experienced players will also find the simple interface which blends well togheter with the rest of the World of Warcraft UI to be of appreciation.

The core goal of this project is not an advanced damage meter with tons of functionality, if you're looking for that, I refer to more advanced tools such as skada or recount. The goal is rather to fill a gap for those that wants a damage meter that is incredibly easy to set up and that doesnt looks totally out of place.

If you have any ideas on how to improve the user interface or the functionality of Simple DPS, you are free to tell me in a comment. Most likely, I will implement it.

Basic usage FAQ

How do I hide or show the Simple DPS window?

To hide it, simply close the window like any other computer window by pressing the close button. You can also do the same that you would to show it.

To show it, either type "/tsd" in the chat window or go to the settings for the addon where a toggle button will be.

Does the data collected so far disappears when I hide or maximize/minimize the window?

No, the data only resets when the user press the reset button or when the game/UI is reloaded.

If you have any questions you want answered and/or have any questions that you think should be added to the FAQ, let me know.
