Spellsteal Master is a spellstal addon for mages with various customization options. It has the following features:
- Popup frames that shows stealable buffs on target and focus
- appears only if the unit has at least one buff that is not filtered out
- if the point above is the case: in order to better estimate which buff you will steal, these frames will show all stealable buffs the unit (except the buff is filtered out via the “hard” filter)
- becomes slightly transparent if unit is out of range and very transparent if you have not enough mana to cast spellsteal (configurable)
- Overview frame showing stealable buffs in your vicinity
- what to show in this frame is configurable
- becomes very transparent if you have not enough mana to cast spellsteal (configurable)
- Mouse-over tooltip frame
- btw: if not changed in the settings, it makes a striking sound which helps to target a unit or apply mouse-over macros on it in stressful situations
- Nameplate icons
- Customize appearance of the three frame types and the nameplate icons
- test frames and test nameplate icons are available
- Creating filters
- filter out specific buffs by its name or id (black or whitelist)
- there are two ways to filter in this way to distinguish between buffs that should be ignored (“soft” filter) and false positives (“hard” filter)
- write your own filter in Lua
- filter out specific buffs by its name or id (black or whitelist)
- Using built-in filters
- ignore units not affecting combat
- ignore class raid buffs
- filter by expiration time
- Chat links for stolen spells
- Customizeable sounds
- Create profiles, which can be toggled anytime via slash commands or macros
- Disabling features you don’t need
- Disabling the addon outside of combat
- Addon disables itself for non mages, but can be forcefully loaded via the addon settings
The addon settings can be found in the interface options or directly opened by typing /SpellstealMaster into the chat.
