Description
An in-game talent calculator and more!
Usage is simple, click the minimap button, or type /tv or /talentviewer in chat to open the talent frame
Use the dropdown to pick between any class, and any spec, and view their talents
The talent frame looks similar to the default blizzard talent frame; and an elvui skin (if you have elvui enabled) is planned.

(this screenshot is taken from a Death Knight, and shows you can inspect and view any tree you want, and preview builds)
Supported features:
- Inspect the talent tree for any spec you like (including Evokers)
- Select talents to preview a build
- Import builds – if the import string is for another spec, the view will automatically to that spec’s tree
- Export builds – exports to string, which you can then import into TalentTreeViewer, or into blizzard’s new Loadout Import
- Patches the built-in loadout import, to reduce error messages, and allow importing builds from websites and other addons (like this one)
- Search for talents, using the same logic as what Blizzard uses in their Talent UI
Planned/work-in-progress features:
- Improve the look & feel to more closely match the blizzard talent UI
- Add a checkbox to enable/disable realistic restrictions, to allow you to know for sure if a build is actually possible
- Simulate being at max-lvl for the available number of talent points (currently, all tree show the points available at your current level)
- Show the level requirement, together with the talent points spent, somewhat similar to how the wowhead calculator shows it
- Integrate into the TalentTree Tweaks addon, that allows shift-click linking to chat, adds more information on tooltips, and more
- Add a button for quick import into the default talent UI
- Perhaps create a saved loadouts system, that allows you to save builds accountwide, which can be export and imported from the default UI
- Suggestions are welcome
This only works in Dragonflight!
Due to restrictions put in place by Blizzard, it’s not possible to show up-to-date talent trees without updating this addon. Especially during beta and ptr periods, you can expect minor issues because of this. After release, it should become stable again
This addon integrates with BlizzMove to make the Talent UI movable, I strongly recommend using it
