tChat

tChat is a complete chat overhaul that provides additional functionality to the standard WoW Chat UI. It is 100% free of taint as it only uses secure post hooks. It provides timeStamps on EVERY chat event, support for copy and pasting internet hyperlinks, alt + click invites, colorizes and hyperlinks names in the chat window allowing for easy whispering for system events like looting, and abbreviates and de-obfuscates many chat messages.

This project is currently in its beta stages and has a few planned updates including an eventual code clean-up and consolidation. There is no in-game UI. There is no .lua config. It is coded strictly for what I wanted out of a chat addon and am sharing it for anyone else who wants to use it for their own. Like all of my addons, it is public domain. Feel free to do whatever you want with it including publishing very close copies of it or updating it if I don't do so in a timely manner.

Please note, if you have also downloaded another of my addons, tTimeStamps, the two are INCOMPATIBLE. They will BOTH add timeStamps to chat leaving you with 2 time stamps for every chat entry. The timeStamp function of this addon is the exact same as tTimeStamps. As such, there is no need to run both.
