Audio Reset

A simple add-on that adds a minimap icon which will reset in-game audio devices set to “Default” so they are synced with the default device selected in Windows. This is useful if you frequently change your output device within Windows such as going between speakers and a headset.

Minimap icon can be hidden and revealed through the command:
/resetaudio minimap

This is the equivalent of going to Game Menu > System > Sound > Game Sound Output and toggling your device or running the following macro:

/run AudioOptionsFrame_AudioRestart()

The add-on was based on Eltreum’s Great Vault which in turn is based on a number of other add-ons including Simulation Craft.
