Getting Started
Type /bookie to open the bookie window.
Starting a new Bookie Session:
On the lobby screen, click "Create New Bookie Session".
Set the parameters for your betting session.
Click "Start".
Your Bookie Session will now be discoverable to other players.
Joining a Bookie Session:
The lobby screen will automatically update with available bookie sessions.
In order to see bookie sessions, you must be in the same:
- Party
- Raid
- Guild
Bookie Rules
Bookie will allow you to start a gambling seesion with the following settings:
-Bet option 1
-Bet option 2
-Rake %: As the bookie, you can specify a percentage of the betting pool to keep.
Entrants who have joined will:
- 1. Submit their choice
- 2. Pay the bookie their wager
The bookie will now close bets, producing odds and potential payouts for clients.
Once a winner is selected, the bookie will see who won money and how much they need to be paid.
(Basically, this is the entire point of the addon)
FAQ
How do I join a bookie's betting session?
If you have the addon installed you should see your bookie's session in the lobby window.
If you DO NOT have the addon, you can ask your bookie to manually add you to the session.
