Description
Here is a video of the addon in use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpHJ3mmUa0s
I have often thought that WoW was not bloody enough. I created this addon for a friend which got me thinking about an amusing thought of what should happen when a max level character hits a level 1-5. There would be blood everywhere!!! This addon creates a random splatter of blood onscreen comparable to how much overkill* you do to your target. Also the word Crit briefly shows in the center of the screen every time your special moves crit.
Use..
/crokmb <number> – changes the maximum # of splotches which consume your view (briefly). Default is 20
/crokms <1-4> – selects the max size of a splotch. Each number is a reference to the size of a splotch in pixels, the range is 64, 128, 256, 512.
/crokma <1-100> – is the starting opacity of the blood and crit graphics. Default is 100.
/crokfo <number in seconds> – Is how many seconds it takes for the blood and crit graphics to fade out.
/crok – This shows your current settings
- The number of splotches which show is equal to a factor based on your total damage dealt vs the remaining health which is why I made the default number of splotches to 20. You can make this whatever you want but I found 20 to be a sweet spot.
Believe me it was fun making this and I find the visuals to be quite satisfying.
