What is MeefsMod?

What started as an addon to play a simple sound when you gain honor has evolved into a full fledged battleground and killing blow announcer for classic.
Named after our trusty officer, Meefs, it’s the addon you didn’t know you were missing until right now.

What MeefsMod does

  • It tracks YOUR KILLING BLOWS on enemy players and plays a random sound according to your kill streak, with a small chance to play a random funnier sound instead.
  • An audio announcer will announce flag events in WSG, every location and claim/cap in AB, and tower/gy claims and caps in AV.

There is no UI and there are only three commands at the moment:
/meefs pvemode – Will turn the killing blow announcer on for PvE targets – Awesome to spice up raids. Note if this is enabled your killstreaks will be reset to 4 if they go over 14 to keep playing a bigger variety of sounds.
/meefs deathreset – Toggles if the killing blow count resets when you die or not.
/meefs gytimer – Turns the GY timer on or off – (The GY timer is still in it’s early stages so it’s probably not very accurate atm
