Description
This is my own personal external edit of DiabolicUI, and reflects how I personally would want the UI to be. I made this to both get the UI exactly like I wanted, while at the same time offer more commonly used setups for the mainline version. This edit requires DiabolicUI to be installed.
The included edits are at any given time what I’m personally using, and included only for that reason. No feature requests will be considered, no questions answered. If you like my personal edits better than the mainline version, use them, if not, don’t.
I’m sharing this primarily as a demonstration on how to write extensions to for DiabolicUI, and also as a way to not impose my own personal preferences on every single user of the UI.
Current Edits
Action Buttons
- Tones down all buttons when not engaged in combat, when on a taxi or when currently dead.
- If MaxDps is installed, anything not recommended by it will be toned down.
- Changes out of range or out of mana/resource coloring to also desaturate the button to have it fully appear in red or blue for easier identification regardless of the icon’s original coloring.
- Spells can be whitelisted as out of combat openers by holding
Alt
+Ctrl
+Shift
and middle-clicking, or whitelisted as always visible in combat by holdingAlt
+Ctrl
+Shift
and right-clicking. Only one type of whitelist can at any time be active, and trying to whitelist a spell already registered will clear its listings.
Chat Windows
- Clears the primary chat window on logins and manual reloads.
Minimap
- Prevents the minimap from flashing on Sanctum-, Order Hall- and Garrison updates.
