Quest_Compass

Feature Requests are encouraged! if an idea is possible and another addon isn’t doing better, I’ll consider and attempt to add it!

Provides a compass to point you to your target location.

Target location can be a quest, a world quest or custom location.

     Location priorities are as follows

          1. Custom Location – Shift click on the world map or click on the player coordinates and type in a location.

1.                –Left click to open map for location
2.                –Right click to clear custom location

1.           2. Hard tracked quest – You’ve specifically clicked on a quest in your quest log or objective tracker.
   1.                Left Click to open map for quest.
   2.                Right click to send quest link to chat.
   3.                Alt left click to temporarily ignore a quest
   4.                Alt Right Click to permanently ignore.
   5.                Control left click to restore temporary ignores
   6.                Control Right click to restore permanent ignores.
   7.                If quest recommends group, provides Group Finder Button.
   8.                If quest requires item, provides a quick access button for the item.
2.           3. World Quests – If you are in a zone with World Quests, it will point you to the nearest one.
   1.                Left Click to open map for quest.
   2.                Right click to send quest link to chat.
   3.                Alt left click to temporarily ignore a world quest, or Alt Right Click to permanently ignore.
   4.                Control left click to restore temporary ignores, Control Right to restore permanent ignores.

          Priority #1 will override priority #2 and #3. #2 will override priority #3, etc

          ** If you target one of the max level zone rare creatures, provides option to announce the rare’s location and current health to General Chat. This will override any other priority.

The compass background changes depending on your quest, world quest, rare creature, or custom location.

Shift left click on the player coords to move the compass.

Shift right click the player coords for the option menu. Options are as follows:

•           Show a line on the map between the player and target location.
•           Toggle the display of text showing the distance between player and target location
•           Point you towards your corpse, if you die
•           Track location of tracked quests
•           Track nearest World Quest
•           Change distance to quest location at which map line or compass arrow will hide.
•           Change scale of player cords
•           Ignore specific world quest types
  •                     Battle Pet
  •                     Dungeon
  •                     Pvp
  •                     Profession
  •                     Raid
  •                     Invasion
• Hover over the world map while pressing Shift to show all Flight Points and click them to set a waypoint.
• As you encounter Rare creatures, the locations are stored, and displayed  on the map, while pressing Shift.
